I think you’re judging this too harshly. Sure, you could be correct, but it could also be tongue and cheek. I think all the time about stuff I could buy, or things I could do if I didn’t have kids. I’m glad I have the kids though. Until proven otherwise, I prefer to think of this as the simple answer to the question I’m sure he gets all the time.
